Pumpkin Marina di Chioggia is a very old pumpkin variety from the fishing village of Chioggia in the Venice region.Marina di Chioggia has large gray-green-blue-green pumpkins weighing 4-8 kg with rough, knobby skin. The pulp of the chioggia has a deep yellow-orange color and is nice and sweet.The seeds, young leaves and flowers of the pumpkin are also edible. Delicious in soup and gnocchi, can also be roasted.
